The successful candidates will report to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for ensuring products are delivered to the correct destinations punctually and in excellent condition. Duties include planning efficient routes in advance, using navigation tools to identify the best journey, monitoring traffic and weather updates to adapt travel plans when necessary, and avoiding congestion or roadworks. The role also involves maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and safety, arranging routine servicing and reporting any mechanical concerns, collecting payments and issuing receipts where required, and adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Maintaining the vehicle safe and clean
• Using navigation apps to determine the best route
• Pick up clients from the place and at the time they’ve requested
• Collect payments and issue receipts
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues
• Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum Grade 12 qualification
• Valid code 14 Drivers' License
• Valid forklift license
• +- 2 years manufacturing/ label printing experience
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions (Eng. & Afr.)
• Able to perform basic calculations
• Able to work independently
